By Train

From Piccadilly Railway Station
it is about 2 ½ miles to the Fallowfield Campus. A free Assembly shuttle bus will operate for arrivals and departures on Saturday (11am to 6pm) and Tuesday (11am to 4pm) respectively. The bus will collect from the pick-up point in Fairfield Street at the south (left hand) side of the station.

At other times leave via Station Approach, and walk in a northerly direction along London Road to Piccadilly Gardens (5 minutes). The bus stands are
mainly on the far left. The 142 route has the most frequent service and there is usually a queue of buses lined up, waiting for passengers. The following routes will all take you to Owen’s Park, Fallowfield.

16, 41, 42, 43, 111, 142, 157

From Victoria Railway Station

Take the tram to Piccadilly Gardens, (2 stops travelling south). From Piccadilly Gardens take a bus as above.

From Oxford Road Railway Station
Cross over Oxford Road and take a bus as listed above.

Chorlton Street long distance Coach Station
Walk along Chorlton Street or Sackville Street to Portland Street and catch a bus as listed above.

By Air

Manchester International Airport is some 5 miles from the Campus. There is a frequent rail service to Manchester Piccadilly station and then take bus
from there as above. Alternatively take a taxi direct to the campus (about 20 minutes).

By Car

Please use the delegate information map below. The website above contains further information. Come first to the General Assembly Reception in the Armitage Centre to check in and find where you will be staying. There are car parks near to the Armitage Centre and Richmond Park, Sheavyn House & Ashburne Hall and parking is free at all these locations for Assembly members and visitors. Please consult the campus map, which will be handed out at registration when you arrive. Stewards will be on duty at the Armitage Centre car park to direct you.

General Assembly Reception and Information Desk is in the main foyer of the Armitage Centre. However you come, make your way there first to find out where you will be staying. It will be well signedonce you arrive on the campus.
